resolutions? no. it i simply time to change how i spend time online. past time, really. despite using a limited number of social platforms, i’m still on them way too much. being this online ain’t healthy.

this is not new information, but as we enter New Year New You season, i wanted to make an effort to be a less stressed, more fulfilled person. there is only so much i can do about the broader state of the world, and it dictates my mood far too often.

i have so many zine ideas to work on, and new comics ideas all the time (although not as often lately). lately i’ve been making linocut stamps to illustrate my zines! “all arm, no follow -through”. a tiny step forward is using my sites (monyatoma.com, infinitymachine.xyz, infinitymachine.neocities.org ^[1]that url might change soon idk ) instead of relying on the crumbling state of social media to put myself out in the world.

i think this is an okay attempt! wordpress blogging ain’t the same as xanga, livejournal, or tumblr but i can’t go back. it already feels good to get some words out on the web in this way again!!

onward, hopefully, to a better year.
